I’m Róna, a life and health coach, lifestyle medic, GP, yoga teacher, reiki practitioner and mum.

 

I am passionate about helping you discover your amazing power to heal the patterns limiting your health and joy in life. I want to support you find balance, flow and success.

Flow state is a state were the skills meet the challenges faced and we feel relaxed, present and energized. I want this for your life. I want to help you get in your "zone". I will support you in recognizing your incredible unique strengths to relax enough to enjoy life and energized to go after what you truly desire.

You will come to know yourself so well and gain incredible self coaching tools that you will begin to see;

I qualified as a doctor in 2014 and have been working both in NI and Australia as a doctor for many years I gained experience in many different specialties in my post graduate training including medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, emergency medicine and psychiatry before specialising in general practice. I love the mix of general practice and the true connection opportunities we get with patients and their families.


This is what gives me my spark at work I love to connect Learn about others and help them thrive and excel in their health and personal life.
And so this is what led me to complete my diploma in lifestyle medicine. In my own life I saw the incredible power of yoga, nature, a minimally processed diet and yet I didn’t have the evidence base to be officially recommending these things to patients.


In 2022 I dove deep into the research of the 6 pillars of lifestyle medicine; a minimally processed predominantly plant based diet, exercise, sleep, stress management, health relationships and avoidance of harmful substances. The evidence was overwhelming and I am delighted to empower both my patients and clients with these incredibly simple and obvious health foundations to ensure strong health practices for life.

Following my partial molar pregnancy and miscarriage in 2022, I thought I know a lot about health and well-being but I could see that despite the knowledge I and others struggled to put it into practice and this is what led me to life coaching. Here I furthered my knowledge on mindset, psychology, behaviour patterns, emotional regulation, neuro linguistic programming and learned how to truly embody all that I knew.


I began rewiring the patterns keeping me stuck and supporting clients to do the same!


Along the way I’ve also trained as a yoga teacher, reiki practioner, Ayurvedic nutritionist and I am working towards my somatic practioner certification.


So if you would like to work with someone with a broad scope of knowledge and years of successfully supporting others overcome challenges and optimise their health, we’ll bring and mindset for success.

My Story

After the birth of my son Theo meaning "divine gift" I recognised the power of pure love. I decided enough was enough I wasn't buying into the stories I'd been given any more. I was living them putting everything above myself and I was crumbling. So instead I turned to self-love, compassion, yoga, reiki, I read hundreds of personal development books and completed extra training in adult and kids yoga, ayurvedic nutrition, reiki, lifestyle medicine and yet I knew all the things but why wasn't I consistently practising them?

Finally the key that allowed it all to stick life and mindfulness coaching. Here I learned how to discover and unlock subconscious limiting beliefs and patterns and how to transform them.

​

Finally harnessing all that I've learned I am living life with love and freedom and it is so ENERGISING! I eat in a way that nourishes my body I NEVER need to worry about my weight or even think about a diet. I move in a way that RESPECTS my body and its needs, no more hammering it out on a treadmill. I know how to adapt and optimise my energy, no more slouching over the work desk or procrastinating for hours. I sleep like a baby and know how to adjust my environment to optimise deep RESTORATIVE sleep. I have MEANINGFUL, POSITIVE relationships with myself and others with HEALTHY boundaries. I don't rely on cigarettes, alcohol, shopping, scrolling, gossiping or others approval to give me my regulation. I harness breath, nature and EMBODYMENT practices with EASE and BALANCE. I am clear on my values, vision, intentions and actions. I have went from pushing on to LOVING life!

What Life Looks
Like For Me

I work as a GP and life coach and truly feel in flow and energised by both roles, I love connecting with people and using my skill set interchangeably to enhance outcomes! I love being the cheerleader and relighting the spark when life has dulled it a little!


I have a huge focus on being a present conscious mum of my 4 and 1 year old so most of the rest of the time I’ll be playing, baking, in nature or knee deep in legos and books with my littles. (dressing/toileting and cooking aside! IYKYK)

​

I love to practice yoga asana and live yoga daily. I engage in other energy practices including meditation, EFT, nature healing and somatic practices. These are my tools on my journey yours may look different and that's ok.


I LOVE TO LEARN so when I’m not doing the above I’m usually listening to a podcast, reading or deep in philosophical convos with my soul mate!
